Print@Home
At TheTrainline we are always looking for way to make it easier to buy your train ticket – and what could be easier than simply printing your own ticket!
We are currently providing our Print@Home system to a number of train companies including Virgin Trains and One Railway – and we hope more major train operators will roll out during 2008.
Passengers using the service simply buy their ticket and print it on ordinary plain A4 paper.
Trainline has worked with the train operators to address security and fraud concerns, with features such as watermarks and barcodes which can be inspected by Trainline’s own handheld ticket checkers.
Why not try it for yourself?:
Mobitix
Train passengers are another step towards ticketless travel with Trainline’s Mobitix tickets.
Building on our established systems, customer receive their tickets directly to their mobile phone. The tickets contain a number of visual security checks and can be inspected using our handheld ticket checkers.
Mobitix is currently being trialled on selected routes, and will be rolled out further during 2008.
