Innovation has always been at the heart of thetrainline and we’re continually looking at ways to improve the experience for our customers.

With the launch of our new site in August 2009, improved features and design means it’s even easier and quicker to buy cheap train tickets.

Print Your Own

Available on a number of train company websites including Virgin trains, Cross Country, Grand Central and First Great Western, this service developed by thetrainline allows you to print your train ticket at home or in the office using an ordinary printer and paper. With the launch of our new site we hope to roll out this service to our customers soon. Watch this space!

Mobile Ticketing - Mobitix

Our Mobitix service allows customers to have tickets delivered directly to their mobile phone. After successful trials with Virgin Trains and Cross Country Trains we’re looking to test with other train operating companies before making available to our own customers.
